²⁶He answered, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.” ²⁷She replied, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the scraps that fall from their masters’ table.” ²⁸Then Jesus answered her, “Woman, you have great faith. Let it be done for you as you wish.” And from that moment her daughter was healed.
